Guest Anonymous
My headlights keep blowing. I checked the voltage at the headlights and I'm getting 16 plus volts at the headlight plugs. Any ideas what the problem is ? Thanks for any info. Forgot to say this a 74 tii. Chris
Guest Anonymous
If you have 16V somewhere, either the battery in your tester in empty, or the voltage regulator (little metal box on the left-front inner wing near the alternator) is broken. If there's a modern regulator, you could probably pry it open bij removing the tape around the base, you should find a trim-resistor to adjust the outgoing voltage. If you have an old one (or a modern one that is broken), get a new one. Good luck, Hugo
