Guest Anonymous
I'm tweeking my list of 2002 movies. Can anyone confirm if a 2002 is in any of these movies, and what the names of the other movies are? I think some just have BMWs in them. 1) The World According to Garp 2) Summer of Sam 3) In some movie barry newman says "give me a fast little car" they give him a 1602. 4) roy schneider is seen in some movie in a white 2002. 5) I remember a show about a pair of detectives on CBS around 1983-86 (possibly made in Canada?) mediocre tv, but there was an orange 2002 (with blacked-out chrome, no front bumper and an air dam) that appeared in every episode numerous times as a background car/something to hide behind during the many shoot-outs. 6) "Sweetie" or "An Angel at my Table" I've yet to notice any mention of the prominent use of an early 02 in one of these first two feature films by Jane Campion. I just can't remember which film had it, These films were first out a dozen years ago, and were waay cooler than her later big hit flic "The Piano." Anyway, this 02 was filmed inside & out. 8) Touring in Cheech and Chong movie i think it was cheech and chong - still smokin'. it was on comedy central the other day. theres a part where they're walking around a city and a white touring drives by. The text and descriptions are lifted from all different places, so I can't remember who to credit.
Guest Anonymous
It's worth re-watching some of those just to look for a 2002. Anyone have a copy of "The Last Run" that stars George C. Scott? The movie has never been released on video, as far as I know. I'm pretty sure that he drives a BMW 503 in the movie. It's about a retired driver for the mob who's asked to help out with one more driving job (helps an imprisoned member of the mob make an escape). He takes the job, goes out and uncovers his old BMW, adjusts the ticking valves, wipes the car off a little, and flies down the road in his great old BMW...the sounds are all very accurate. I would like to see that movie again if ever I can find it.

Guest Anonymous
Yes, a supercharged 503, which figures prominently (and is finally wrecked after he drives it down a flight of stairs, as I recall). I've seen it a few times, but I don't have a copy.

Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.lovingeveryminuteofit.com I've been meaning to watch it. If you want a good list I have one already. I got some of them from some one else. Go the BMW 2002 part of the site and then go into 02 movies. I will be changing the site around soon. Guest Anonymous
the names of a few particular movies that I've only got descriptions of. Also some of the movies I only have titles to, so don't really know if they have 2002s in them, or just other BMWs. Thanks, Rob

Guest Anonymous
Yes, it's a blue 503 Convertible-and it gets destroyed at the end! This film is shown fairly often on TCM in the UK.

Guest Anonymous
Cheech and Chong are at The Roxy for the Rock Fight. (battle of the bands) Sgt. Stedanko and his band of idiots are staking out the Roxy from across the street in a dry cleaner's van. The camera's got a shot of the Roxy, from across the street, when a golf yellow 2002 drives by. You can only see the roof and about five inches of the pillars and glass but it's definitely an 02. There's also a nice white e-12 in that movie. But I'm sure you guys don't watch that kinda crap!
