Greetings folks,

...finally got the refurbished driveshaft in and the car is totally different...like night & day...Vibrations are gone in the 30-40 mph...this is after a couple of cuts in the noggin...

...now ready for more challenges...Pertronix...

Thought this was a cinch with the mature materials on the archives but got confused downright when I called Pertronix tech support...

Told them I had Bosch 0231188002 and they popped Pertronix Part #2842...I got the impression for the mechanical advance distributor on a '76 02 that it would be Pertronix Part # 1847...

Any advice? Where's the best value to buy it from?

Thx.

a Pertronix unit is something that should probably be bought locally. Quite a few seem to be defective. So it might be worth your while buying one locally so that you don't have to pay shipping when you return it.
