Can use my 82 320 5 speed with an 325is throw out bearing for an m20 swap?

Any help or insight would be great

No, the M10 and M20 bellhousing bolt patterns are different. If you do go M20 and use the E30's Getrag 260 you can also use the E30's driveshaft, it fits perfectly. I'm working on a writeup for the swap which will simplify it and go into greater detail(pics, helpful hints, optional parts, etc) than the 6 into 2 guide which I used while doing the swap. I'll post it in the faq article construction zone once I'm done, probably a few weeks from now.

If your's is a 245 you can use it if you swap over to the bell housing from a 4-speed 323 (getrag 242). Not probably not for those comfortable with pulling apart a tranny. This is the route I'm going (will be doing a write up and hopefully adding it to Manimals write up.)
