Guest Anonymous
if so, what parts are needed or what modifications? TIA, Britt
Guest Anonymous
but i believe the old remote servos are hard to come by, especially in the states.... there must be some equivalent stand alone booster available... then all you do is use brake line to pipe it to where you want it... you could use the stock RHD master cylinder and maybe block off one of the holes to convert to a single circuit system? of course you cant go with out a booster altogether unless you have calves of steel! (i think its probably strictly illegal as well) ozgeorge

Guest Anonymous
servos.... does anyone??? maybe a conversion can be done using them? ozgeorge
Guest Anonymous
I think i have heard of the pbr vh44? from like old valiants or the like? Not sure. Either way can confirm calves of steel required without booster. My car had some issues, so to rule out leaky booster, I disconnected the vacuum line. Christ, it was heavy! No way I would run a road 02 with out a booster. Racecar maybe... Michael
Guest Anonymous
apparently some escorts also had remote servos.... i have heard from many sources that once the remote servos kick the bucket on an 02 they are *very* hard to replace... ozgeorge
Guest Anonymous
It is in the works. Give me a bit of time and I will have a KILLER brake booster less dual master cylinder setup with a adjustable biast bar. I will be selling them for pretty cheap and it will work GREAT!!!! Just give me a bit of time.

Guest Anonymous
I've been toying with a boosterless setup idea. I've driven my 02 for quite some time with the booster disconnected. With the proper MC and pedal linkage, no booster is no problem. I _like_ the floor-mounted pedal arrangement better than suspended pedals, so I'm shying away from the suspended Tilton style setup you see on race cars. For now I'm going to run a TII booster, but that's even heavier than the standard one. Mike
