Guest Anonymous
My car ('73) has the standard antenna on the driver's side of the car (on the left A pillar) as well as an amplified Hirschman antenna on the roof - right on the very front of the roof in the center, (I believe this is the location of the antenna on an E30 M3). I would like to eliminate both antennas and add a glue on or stick on type antenna to the rear glass, as found on modern US-made cars. Does anyone know of a source for such an antenna? Does anyone know who can supply a replacement Hirschman mast? Thanks, Larry
Guest Anonymous
signal as a mast type antenna--they're more directional which will cause null spots when you're traveling in certain directions, especially with a weak station tuned in. Replacement Hirshmann masts should be available from the usual sources--Bavarian, Max etc... Cheers Mike
