Guest Anonymous
I've seen a few (only a rare few) 02/1600s with the roundel and designation in the area right below the trunklid over on the pass side, in the tight spot between the trunklid and the aluminum strip that connects the taillights. I got some of that badging off a gray market car. is this some Euro designation? perhaps to free up more of the space on the sides of OUR plates to afford more space for the wide Euro license tags? just wondering, Brent Miller '71 1600
Guest Anonymous
1600s (66 and 67) but it's been awhile since I've seen one. Check the article in the Feb 2002 Roundel on Scott and Fran Hughes' all original 1967 1600. Cheers Mike
Guest Anonymous
Although toward the 68-69 changeover they went to the larger 1600 emblem mounted between the right tail light and the license. Very, very, very early 1600s had a script that read bmw1600 instead of the roundel.
