I love their stuff. I used a bunch of it on my mk3 gti.

Question. Have you used the turn signals? It appears they requre a condenser.

Also, I bought used turn signal lens and apparently they each require a different bulb pin confirguration. I guess there are several production types. Any link to a site to give me correct selection?

I tried pulling the housings off by unscrewing the 2 nuts on the back and it felt like the housing was going to snap. Looks and feels like plastic. What does the 1 bolt (on top of housing do)? I would love to go the led way, just don't want to fag it all up.

Not sure why you'd want to light up your plate better. I would rather the cops not see the number! Nice lights though, wonder how something like this would do lighting up the car's interior?

I have an extra set of turns. I plan to explore the possibility of intsalling LED turns.

This is a pic of the tag in daylight. I painted my tag frame to match and placed adhesive red vinyl behind the LED lights. Additionally, the chrome case housing the LED seemed to "project" light more towards the rear. To solve this I cut a small strip of aluminum tape and placed it so as to "hood" the lens. Now the light cast itself towards the tag and not the rear.

looks good and really lights up the tag.

I wonder if they would look out of place mounted on the bumper (they look like they might be a bit tall for the bumper).

I did not use the turn signals. You are right, it required more wiring/hacking than i wanted to do with that car. I did mostly interior lights, and the license plate lights. they were all plug and play. You should be able to call and ask them what you may need. they were very helpfull when i talked to them.
