instrument clusters

I am trying to get a correct gauge cluster for my 1970 2002. Does any one know when the clusters changed from the black and silver to faux wood grain?

Wood appeared in `74 square lights, silver dollar clusters ended in 71/72 when they went to black.

I've never seen a Us 1600 with any other style unless a PO replaced the original set.

On a 1600 it would normally come with a clock vs tach, but the tachs were available when the car was new either as a special order or dealer installed, so putting a tach in is still correct.
