engine and drivetrain 2002 Turbo Tuner? (Near NY a huge plus)

Hey guys,

My M10 engine is on the way out. I am going to need to rebuild/swap it. I am seriously considering turboing the engine (along with megasquirt and the works), but I am a bit worried about tuning and reliability.

While I know of great vintage mechanics as well as Turbo tuners, I don't know of guys that are well versed in both. It is a major component that is holding me back.

I was hoping that some of you guys could chime in. I hear great things about VSR in NH, but I am afraid I would have to give them the rights to my firstborn for a project like this. Any suggestions you guys have would be really appreciated.

I'd suggest you have a conversation with Ray Korman. He has done a lot of M10's and he can dyno the engine and tune it properly.

I have a turbo. I love the car but the turbo aspect is a pia and a really different animal. A lot of people act more nonchalantly then they should regarding this situation. I feel I did and I have watched others make mistakes as well. If you own a turbo and have used the people you mentioned successfully then your comment is appropriate. I couldn't tell if that was the case and so I was just pointing out that many times on the Internet people relate information that is not first hand. In this instance I would exercise caution. No disrespect meant.
