Anyone have a source for this little guy? Mine is a bit long in the tooth, and it appears they are NLA. Not the bushing in the socket, but the cover/boot that keeps the crud out of the socket.

I would think you could make one from a rubber boot sourced from a hardware store - or just use a black rubber end cap and cut a hole in the end.
