I had the car up in the air yesterday to replace my clutch master that was going out. Friday my fixed camber plates arrived. I also ordered new Strut bearings since mine have about 60plus k on them now and had some cracking in the rubber. So I figured it was a good time to install them.

I figured out the best way to disasemble was to unbolt the shock in the mount (take that big nut off). I left the strut bearing attached to the car. I unbolted my IE sway bar at each side to free up the control arms a bit. Then I just pushed down in the wheel bearing cap area with my foot and tada the shock cleared the strut bearing and was free. Did this to both sides. I noticed that the inner cirlce of the camber plate needed to be beveled a bit where it meets the strut bearing. The strut bearing had kind of a lip from the rubber that bonds it. So I clearanced and then bolted the camber plate to the strut bearing (You have to knock out the studs that come on the strut bearing as the camber plate uses these holes to mount to it) Then I just bolted the strut bearing camber plate assembly into the car, pressed my foot down on the wheel bearing area and guided the shock back into the strut bearing hole. Bolted all back together and it was finished. Now to beeld the clutch slave and drive
