and offering these ads that I think I haven't seen on other sites in the past - and I'm sure many here have never seen.

Note the front license tag in the "BMW owners are fanatics" ad: NLA-551

The first two ads are using the same license tag on different colored cars (DBE-24). Another one uses the same number but "72" instead of "73" like the other two plates.

Is this some sort of manufacturer tag?

YES - manfacture lic plates DBE-24 73

still used today by the import car companies

if you drive by the NJ headquarters for BMW and M-Benz,

you'll see these plates in the parking lots.

The lower the small number, the more important the employee,

and in parking spaces closer to the front door

DBE-24 1 is the Pres. with the spot AT the front door
