I have a nice E12 Cylinder Head that needs rebuilding. It is a 1987 casting with 129mm thickness. The number one cylinder has a broken valve.

All the other cylinders are uniformly dark and the number one cylinder is just slightly oily.

I have had the head straightedged and it shows no signs of warpage. The coolant looked good. So I am confident that this is a good candidate for rebuilding. Most people want to completely rebuild their cylinder heads anyway.
