How do I remove half shafts from a 320 LSD

How do I remove half shafts from a 320 LSD? I am swapping with a 76 and the 76's halfs came out easy but I do not see how they are held in on the LSD... I am swapping half shafts eliminating spacers and 320 cv joints...

I'm sure someone who knows that diff will chime in but when I did that on my 535i, they were held in by internal spring clips. To get them off, you put a crow bar between the flange and the diff body and with a little pressure on the flange they should pop out. Its doesn't take much. I am only assuming your is the same concept, not familiar with that one.

i use a piece of 2x4 and a good tap on the side to pop it out, with a hammer. if the circlips are in good shape it requires some persistance to pop them out.

That was it! MUCHO GRACIAS!!! Now to find the seal size... the LSD was gummy...
