my blink once issue is FINALLY FIXED

trust me. I tried to keep the original flasher. Replaced the flasher with OE. cleaned all ground points. disassembled the rear tail lights and re-soldered the ground contact points...etc..etc..it worked for a while and Mr. Blink once came back. Finally gave in and tried it this way.

I went even lower tech on the fixture. Some male spades, some female plugs and a bit of wire.

what I picked up was a headlight socket from Napa autoparts. paid 4 bucks I think. Sorry but I threw the box away. Just ask the guys at the counter. it's very common.

I had a "one blink" problem on the dash indicator. The front left turn signal would not blink and both filiments were illuminated. The left rear blinked along happily and the hazard switch cause all four corners to blink. Turns out I had the wires reversed on the left front light housing. Put the blue on bottom and grey on top and am back in business. I did the above mentioned fix but transitioned back to the OE flasher relay after I located this, the true cause of my malady.

found the box of the socket. its NAPA part # LS6479
