Guest Anonymous
Well, my auto body guy finally came over and inspected everything, and it appears the only serious problems are the front floor pans and the front subframe pieces (they are soft in front of where the floor is out, so I missed that). So, I think I'm going to stick with this body. Monday we're going to pull the engine/trans. Any tips about that? (I have a Haynes manual with it documented, just wondering about tips from people have done it before.) I don't care about leaving the trans/engine attached, whatever is easier. How available are the front subframe pieces? I think I saw they went for $300, is this the price I am going to have to pay? Also, are the front floor pieces available? Strut towers and such all check out okay. I've been quoted about $3000 for the body work, so I think I'll go ahead.
