I need to bleed my brake system today but only have about 2/3 Qt of fluid. Is this enough to fully flush the whole system, including clutch? I'm using one of the Motiv bleeders which I think adds to the amount needed if I recall correctly. No place near by to pick up more ATE fluid on a Sunday....

For future reference:

Orchard Supply Hardware carries Castrol LMA in both the small and large bottles. $4.99 and $9.99 as I recall. They also have Castrol 20/50 for 25 cents less a quart than Kragens/O'Rielys. And Kragens didn't carry the Castrol LMA brake fluid.

Buy one of each, the large and small bottles. Dump the whole fresh large bottle into the Motiv bleeder and go to town. Keep the sealed small bottle in the trunk for that time you are out on the road.

I always write the date on any chemical bottle when I open it. Brake fluid- I only keep around for a month or two after the original seal is broken. As soon as it's opened, the clock is ticking.
