Guest Anonymous
Folks, My research through the board archives seems to indicate possible valve seals/gudie as the root of light blue smoke at 90+mph, 4Krpm... The thing though is my '03 plans/budget are for some engine upgrades (got my SSLynx/45 DCOE setup) and possible paint job. Should I just install the SSLynx/45 DCOE and get the rebuild next year? Or should I get the rebuild maybe 292 CAM with the port and polish...screw the paint the job... How much for the rebuild? Anybody know somebody in the Rockville, MD? TIA. dM\x. Guest Anonymous
I'd do the rebuild! Nothing like having an improved powerplant Paint can wait.. It's better to be all go and no show in my opinion
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.vacmotorsports.com/main/vac_racing.html I would go with the engine rebuild, the 292 cam and Lynce 45 setup will work really nice and would be sure to put a big ol' smile on your face! As for a place to do the head, I would look for a BMW specialty shop, there is one here in Philly I can highly recommend (see link)

Guest Anonymous
is very good and builds many of the motors that run and win at Summit Point, a cranky fool, but knows his stuff.
