I pulled the electric pump from the 72 tii Ceylon today. Would not come on with the key, so, I decided to do a bench test. No sign of movement.

Is it dead ? Any hope of reviving it?

May be time to either get a new Tii pump or go the E28 or E30 route.

Here's a link to the thread about fuel pumps.

My short story: I decided to give up the dream of finding a real-deal OEM new Bosch tii fuel pump. So this past February I went the Keith Kreeger route and bought a 5-series pump. Been working like a champ ever since !!
