Our "new" '76 2002 made it to Nashville from the Bay Area yesterday. 2435.5

miles door-to-door, with the only glitch a flat tire about 30 miles from home. A good friend and his wife flew out and drove it back, and he's such a glutton for punishment he said he'd do it again tomorrow. I know he was looking at CL ads for Alfas and 928s before he left!

Other than the bad paint, it's a time capsule. Everything, including the CA

emissions equipment, is present and functional. No leaks, no rust, no surprises. Other than cloth Recaros on Recaro sliders and a CARB-approved Weber, it's all original. Looks like I've got a new project. Will be working on a

project list at OFest...

Looks nice, bummer that you wont be able to keep the blue plates, wish I could have them on mine.

Enjoy.

Ordered a 1976 TN plate last night, so I'll register it as an antique w/ vintage tag. I'll keep the blue plate up front - nobody in TN's gonna care!

Bill,

I never left - just dormant, waiting (for what, I don't know) to get my '74 back on the road. It was just too rusty, but has lots of good parts on/in it that'll work great on this one. Gonna fix it up for Lora.
