Nice outcome Harry. When I left work last Friday I saw the Inka automatic (2nd picture). I manage to catch up with him and he followed me to the gas station. He wanted to tell me about the meet. I told him I had a prior commitment and so I couldn't make it. Anyway, it seems like the event has reached great attendance - not to mention very nice examples out there.

BTW: I might be selling my E30. I'll call you and we can talk.

Thanks for sharing!

Great looking 02s... Love the inka and the baikal...

My 2002 was manufactured on September 15th, 1971 and delivered on October 22nd, 1971 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Granada, paint code 023. It was sold on New Years Eve December 31st 1971.

Thanks to all for your comments!

The Baikal car has been on Ebay a couple of times. The owner is asking (gulp) $28K.

CD, I didn't get a chance to take any more pics, but I'll check to see if I can steal a couple from other albums.

Victor, give me a holler when you can! Sad to know you're selling your E30. Might get another one myself, but it has to be automatic because of the missus' knee. I am checking a Bronzit 325e four door tomorrow if I can escape from the office for a while.

Oh man!!!!! How could you have missed it!!! You were almost within a rock's throw of the event and, by the way, there's a lot of great seafood to be had in Patillas.

Nice pictures Harry, some really nice examples. Obviously a beautiful day.

...Interesting extra rubber seals on the Baikal car left and right of the radiator, and from fender to fender at back of the engine bay...sorta like an e9. Wonder if they work...?
