Guest Anonymous
On my way to Carlisle I was coasting around 75-80 MPH and decided to rev it up a little...Never did 90 so I figure I'd try the car after a year of restoring it. It's got a stock engine to my knowledge with 32/36, stahl header and 318 head. I take it to 90 and then past it. After a minute I look back and see light blue smoke...!@#$% says I. I check out of the nearest exit and I try to see if there's any crack I could eyeball. Nothing but I did notice that the shop filled it with way too much oil, a quarter inch above the upper tick mark... Could too much oil generate enough pressure to push it pass the seal? Or is this a bigger problem like a ring job... I notice that I don't see it till I start going around 90 only so far at 4Krpm... TIA. dM\x.
