BMW M12/7 cam carriers

I know it is a little off topic for most, got a really interesting email for Luigi Moreschi Motorsport in Italy a few days back. They have all sorts of interesting race cars, race parts (they actually have a pretty nice looking BMW 320 Grp. 2 "Eggenberger" with ALPNA M10 8v slide injection on their site for sale (EUR 39000). At any rate they have made molds and have cast/finished parts for the BMW M12/7 race motors - cam carriers (or cam trays). Cast in magnesium and completely finished. Absolutely amazing work, I can't even imagine how much it cost to have the molds made - then the machine work on top of that. That "gold" color is part of the magnesium finish process, since it isn't possible to get that color on parts that have been run/used I was able to have that color replicated in a rattle can for some of the mag parts I have - could actually use on wheel centers as well come to think of it. Good stuff.

but its not unobtanium.....go can get a pair for a mere EUR 5000,00 (or about $6,825 USD)......of course then you need everything else...
