In my regional historic racing class 2002s are allowed to have up to 13x7 wheels.

Is anyone aware of any 13x7 wheels with either 205/60 or 185/60 rubber Toyo R888 that fit on a lowered non-flared 02. Fenders will probably need to be rolled.

My build plan specs;

- E21 front vented rotors with 2002 Turbo calipers

- E21 rear drum brakes

- IE adjustable coilover on front - 2" lower?

- IE adjustable caber plates on front

- IE race spring on rear with sport springs - 1-1/2" lower?

- upside-down subframe mounts (still not sure if I have to match the offset on the diff mounts)

What would be the ideal/max offset on a 13x7 wheel?

What would be the ideal/max offset on a 13x6 wheel?

Any thoughts and recommendations on wheel options would be most appreciated.

cheers

I ran a set of 13x7 205/60 Ronal racing wheels on my rolled/pulled 02 with camber/coilover not sure of the offset. Very light wheels!

You may run into trouble with the calipers vs. backspacing in front.

I got the 528 calipers to work with Panasports on a tii strut.

Took a bit of grinding to get that to work,

and I had to shift wheelweights around to get it to fit, it was that tight.

Previously, I'd had e21 calipers with a lot of clearancing done to them.

In back, it shouldn't be a problem.

You'll want an et in the high 20's on whatever wheel you find-

and they're hard to find.

205's ought to work, in 60 series.

I think you can get it to work OK, it's just going to be cozy.

c.d.iesel,

Your car looks great! What 13" wheels are on your car? Are they 6 or 7" wide?

Tug on fender arches – you mean actually pull them out by hand? - how much did you need to pull out? Nice solution, I have never heard of this.

Please post or email me more pics.

thx so much for your input
