I figured out the fuel regulator issue, it was a user flup up... Now I get spark and fule, started for a second, shuts off immediately.... Any idea why? I would guess its a ecu to coil issue, but insure which wire I'm missing... Any help?

Thanks again...

Had the same issue once. Finally figured out that I was firing on the cold start valve then dying due to lack of fuel. I had the injectors cleaned before reinstalling them and it turns out that they were all stuck shut. Apparently the cleaning solvent was dirty and it left a residue that locked them closed. Tapped them lightly with a small hammer to break them free and all was good.

Are you sure you're getting fuel from all injectors? Just an idea....

In the old days, this was a sign of a failed ballast resistor.

For EFI, make sure everything is getting power in 'run'

that needs it- fuel pump, EFI, positive to idle motor, injectors, etc,

as most of the electronic switching is done on the ground side.

What system did you convert to?

If its MS this is fairly common. Just increase the req fuel until it will idle. The calculator is just an estimate and if your using someone elses msq it 'll be off for sure.....

I used a 318i set up with ecu and harness.

I did some testing today, and injectors read 17-19 ohm resistance.

Tested each injector with a 9v battery to hear clicking noise all passed.

I pulled the fuel rail with injectors attached placed the rail in a bucket and tried cranking the engine. I get not a drop from not one injector...

My guess I'm missing a wire to my coil.....

I'm about ask the FAQ in a different post also, but the grn wire that goes to the - side of the coil, is this the green wire from the impulse generator on the 318 harness. Its the plug that goes into the dizzy, is this the wire I'm lacking???

Sounds like it. The ecu needs to know that the motor is in cycle.

1. Noid light to test ecu for injector pulses

2. Check fuel PRESSURE not just that "its getting up there"

3. Then test each injector by giving it power and seeing the fuel rail pressure go down. Just because the injector has the proper resistance does not mean its opening correctly.

Its easy to get the basics out of the way first.

And thank your lucky stars its not a Ford Aerostar.
