Guest Anonymous
Just curious how you will get the 323 engine stuff. Sounds interesting and fun. GOOD LUCK!!! Bryan red73

Guest Anonymous
I got a 323i with the same thought in mind and discovered that the motor for having 2 extra cylinders has a miniscule HP increase compared to a 325i. Did you get lucky and get a 5 speed or a LSD. The diff should be a 3.46. If you have a 4 speed you have no overdrive. Sell the rear discs...($200 and up) and go with a 2.5L. Of course this is in my opinion.....
Guest Anonymous
Bolting the 2.3i head to the eta bottom end is the mildest form of the i/e M20 hybrids. Compression ends up in the 8s, and the top end is good but not great due to the limitations of stock k-jet fuel distributor. But it's a real nice driveable street motor. HP numbers aren't all that amazing as a previous poster mentioned, but the torque is through the roof. Mid-range punch between 3500 and 5500 is fantastic. Add a 5 speed OD box and a 3.64 rear end, and the drivetrain really rocks. IMHO, Lee
Guest Anonymous
sold the car for 500 bought it for 250 towed it for 90 I did take pictures though. I will post after roadfly "ok's" them. I'm going to go with a 325i motor (m20b25)
