Minty, our new 1975 project

This was found on FAQ , 8 miles from home , surface rust with all the structure , floors & around windows look excellent. All original & complete except for velour upholstery. My son & I are going to get her running again, fix the paint, seats , brakes etc. Will be fun.I'm not sure if we will paint the top mintgrun again or 2 tone in black or dark green. We need to see how the lower half cleans up 1st.

I like it too being a Limey , the green is a natural lol I cleaned up the rear top on the front fender & the color is under all that oxidization.

Price was right too.

Well this morning I was determined to get our new project running & cleaned up. Ignition was the 1st culprit , Crane Fireball 700 , swapped out to a known working points disi, ran for a second . diagnosed bad coil.Also large red wire on bat + was bodged on badly. New connector on wire & she purs like a kitten. Drove great around to the $1 car wash, gave her a bath , under hood & everywhere. Drove home got the buffer out & voila a LOT cleaner Mintgrun 2002.We also swapped out the disc pads as the PO said they were bad, he was not wrong. So far so good.

the picture does glam up the paint ,I do need to find some trim too.

I have the door guard trim for both doors and one piece for the fender (pax side I think.) You can have it if u want it.

Cool guys keep me posted on trim , I like the rescue of a neglected 2002 good lessons for my son too.
