Full report later, but I'm very happy to announce that the 2002 reigned supreme AGAIN at the SCCA Solo Nationals!

The car took 1-2 in FSP *and* FSPL.

Kathy Wolfskill and Jamie Yost were 1st and 2nd, respectively, in FSPL, and Kevin Wenzel took FSP open over Ron Williams.

Ron Williams? Yeah, a Honda guy. Ron's motor spun a rod bearing after/during his first run on the first day, so he jumped into the 2002 for today's runs. He did _really_ well, all things considered, made Kevin work for the win.

Will try to post pics and things later. I was not there this year (dammit), but it worked out well regardless.

HUGE thanks to Ireland Engineering in helping make it happen - some motormounts, their step header, a new clutch, etc etc etc - the list goes on.

That's 3 years my car has won FSP (2nd by .054 last year....), first time it has won FSPL. We're lucky to have such fun cars with such strong aftermarket support AND competitively classed!

Congratulations… Beating Ron “the bulldog” Williams in any class is a great accomplishment… The Tire Rack SOLO National’s is the best motorsport event I’ve attended and participated in… I should make it back next year running in DSP or STX… Need to hookup with fellow FAQ’s next year…
