Nice run. Was just talking with Gerry tonight, said he enjoyed working with you on the Main Circuit over the weekend. Do you hold a lap record there in one of the classes? Must be nice to have the S14!

Fred '74tii ... needs 2.2, has 4.45

Gerry was a hoot to run with. known him for a long time, he had mentioned you and your car Fred. I gotta see that thing sometime!

yes, have current track record in SCCA ITR class, e36 325is, 1:23.0

exhaust is stock 2002 turbo stuff. noise you hear is the CF airbox, sounds kinda like sidedrafts....which ITB's effectively are.

full ground control race suspension, IE sway's, koni s/a race dampers. toyo R888 tires. love the suspension bits, not thrilled with the tires....but then....all i run on the race car are Hoosiers, so my measuring stick is a bit warped....

yeah..so I went over to meet Marshall last night and look at some parts.

As we head out to his shop-garage, I see a bright red car.

DAMN! Beautiful paint on that thing..with track tires, slick-as-snot brakes and suspension and track dirt.

I had not seen or heard anything about his car.

Well, he grins and opens the hood.

HOLY CRAP!!!

:-)

That's all I can say!

"Excited in right seat" is an understatement. My question is did he try to put his feet thru your 1/8" aluminum ECU plate?

I was looking at your hands on the wheel more than the track (seen that in your other videos). Nice smooth driving. Wish I was in the car with you.

mount is $10 ebay three suction cup deal stuck to back window.

you got the car. you got the helmet. so when are you brining celeste to the dance? ;-)

My helmet may be out of date (2005?). I see there is another one coming up (September?).

Nice, Marshall! Good thing you had an instructor with you :)

Glad you're having fun with the old beast.

P.S. I keep delaying my project-- maybe done in spring?
