Guest Anonymous
Hi, if the head is on the motor in the car then the head has to come off because there is not enough room forward of the head to silde it out of the motor and body. stone
Guest Anonymous
Exactly right, you have you pull the head out since there is now forward room for it to go. Also, if you are intending you pull your cam our you need to make or purchase three tools to compress the valve springs. I just pulled a cam out last night, so if you need dimensions on these tools let me know i can email them to you.

Guest Anonymous
The tools you make pry on the rocker arm, so you cant use a spring compressor. I will scan you the page out of my haynes manual that talks about it all. what was your email again? thanks.
