Tach and MSD6a Hook up anybody know how

Anybody out there hook up a msd 6a to their otherwise

stock 2002 before.My wires are factory and un cut like

most cars I have seen.The car is a 72 2002 not a tii .I

hooked up the msd and it works beautifully.The problem

is that my tach does not work when hooked up and a tach

runs off the neg,side of the coil correct me if I'm

wrong.When I remove the msd wiring and put it to the

original set up the tach works.I set up the msd exactly

how the directions show and it still does not work it

suggest a tach splitter or something.Anybody out there

been thru this and have some suggestions.I tried to

pull wires from the tach to a little output on the

other side of the msd box but it does not work still I

would like a tach to work.My friend suggested to

replace the tach wi

There's two types and it's the cheaper one that works. I think you'll find the part number if you search old messages.
