Guest Anonymous
I have a set of 11.5 to 1.0 Venolia's in my track car. Venolia's are not a good street piston. They need to get warm before you rev the heck out of the engine, due to higher thermal expansion. I'm told JE's expand a little less (different alloy). Both companies make beautiful pistons. They are expensive and be prepared to wait almost 2 months to get your pistons. Call Ireland if you want the Venolia's or JE's, else call the guys at Maximillian. Guest Anonymous
All the images I see of Venolia pistons are the early '70s design of Miller&Norburn(which they abandoned in the mid '70s). Somebody got a pic of their current design? If you get a modern design and have your machinist mill away a bunch of the excess weight, they ought ot be OK.
