Guest Anonymous Posted May 11, 2003 Share Posted May 11, 2003 I think 18 ft lbs on the M6 is way high, esp. for clamping the aluminum cover. Typical tightening torques for these sizes shown in the service manual are more like: M6 = 10 Nm (7.5 lb ft) M8 = 25 Nm (18.5 lb ft) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
