Guest Anonymous
Has anyone cut the kick panel to accept a front speaker? How did it work out?
Guest Anonymous
could cut the cardboard panels under the dash and mount the speakers there. Sounds better, won't get wet, and won't ruin the door panels. I have done it this way and loved it.
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Careful! Those underdash panels are getting mighty scarce in decent condition. I sold a set on eBay last year for $150! I wouldn't go cutting those up in the future. Besides, Jack was wondering about the kick panels, not the door panels. Guest Anonymous
I'm looking into cutting the vertical kick panel, where the carpet is by the hood release machanism. Even if it isn't deep enough a small piece could be welded on to accomodate the speaker. I've got the interior stripped anyway. With it open I'd be able to POR 15 the inside of the fender. Comments. Under dash panels might be the best, if I had any, but thought I'd ask. Comments?

Guest Anonymous
I have a set of Civic front kick panel speaker boxes... I got from a buddy of mine - I think they are fairly easy to come by if you ask car audio stores... they are not an exact fit, but being made out of some sort of fiber/plastic/rubber mold they can be trimmed to fit. The good thing is that they are angled so the speaker fires up and back instead of straight across and they do not take up much room. They are not installed yet, and alas I do not have pics, but that may give you some ideas. D
Guest Anonymous
The paint job reminds me of the fender on my 74 golf. A lot of primer and a little yellow...Marty....
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Yeah, we've got a good bit of room here. The garage is 25'x15'. House costs me just under $1000/month. I'm located just outside Vancouver, about 20 minutes from the pacific ocean, 2 hours from Whistler.....sorry.
