I am cleaning up a diff and going to put new seals etc and having trouble getting flanges off. I am currently smacking it with a BFH and it comes out about 3/8" as in the photo, but it wont budge after that. Ay tips would be great, see pic

Oh, wait.

Lookit that. Conkitchen's dead right.

You pulled the bearing race carriers.

Take that center bolt out first.

THEN pull the carriers! When I looked at your thumbnail,

I saw the close- to- the- carrier spacing and made it into an early 320 diff.

Hey, thanks for the tips on removing the circlips...finally did it. In this process I bent up the spacers on one side...can I put these back in without issues or do I now need to find the spacers now?
