can brake boosters be rebuilt?

Recommended Posts

rebuild booster? = no

but some here have tried - through

a special rebuilder service

but yer hard pedal can also , and more likely

be caused by no vacuum to the booster,

and rotten rubber brake fluid hoses, And seized calipers pistons.......

Or seized up brake pedal linkage. . . . . .

Technically possible.

Practically speaking, difficult to do, and

parts are hard to find.

They're pretty robust, (often it's just the valving that

gets gummed up) so they're cheap and plentiful in the

parts market.
