Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Well, after 7 years without a garage, I finally have one again. I moved into my new place on May 3rd, and spent the last couple of days cleaning the garage out. It was a filthy mess, but I've got it cleared out enough to park my 02 inside! It still looks a little rough around the edges, but it's clean, dry, has a decent floor, and is big enough to work on all sides of the car! I have been waiting WAY too long for this day. Guest Anonymous
Congrats, hope all is well, don't overdo it with that back. hmmm, planning the remodel of the garage already I bet, among other things. Lets see, get a nice lot, three car garage with small apt over, sounds about right. :-).

Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm BIG garage with a living quarters above sounds just fine by me! I'm still taking it easy on the back. I had help from a buddy with the heavy stuff in the garage. All I've done is moved some lightweight stuff, and done LOTS of sweeping. Guest Anonymous
So, Al, having this space must give you thses great ideas of the work you intend to get done in a clean dry place. What's on the schedule?
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm You better believe it! I've got the engine from my 74 parts car on a stand in the garage. I will be starting the teardown as soon as my back can handle lifting cylinder heads and such. My 76 is getting a little smokey in it's old age, so I plan to do a "quick and dirty" rebuild of the "spare" engine, and throw it in, until I can afford to do the original 76 engine how I want it. I've also got a driveshaft with a bad U joint that needs replacing, so that is at the top of the list. Again, my 74 parts car to the rescue! I'll likely rebuild the shifter at the same time. Many other things planned as well. I still need to get the garage sorted out a little more, but it's a start. Al
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Yep, still in Surrey. We just moved to the south end of the city. A little nicer neighbourhood, and about 15 minutes closer to the beach! Al
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Yeah, I had lots of help with my move. Obviously I couldn't handle any of the heavy stuff. As for the garage, yep, I already feel bad that my 75 02, and Anita's Rabbit still have to live outside. I figure I need at least a 4 car garage before I'll be truly happy. Oh, what a sickness we have... AL
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Yep, it sure beats the old place. There, I had a dirt floor, leaky garage, and no pavement. I'm living large now! Al
Guest Anonymous
"nicer neighbourhood". Yeah those pesky kiddies in the safeway car park, eh? Man there is a LOT going on the BC 02 land. The upcoming spanish banks gatherind, your move, and the 02 website is looking spiffy (love the bios). You really are trying to get me all misty-eyed at being out of province arent you
Guest Anonymous
URL: http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/index.htm Yep, we're becoming a pretty active crew up here. You need to haul ass back north of the 49th, and join us. I'm the only guy in our group with a garage, so my place is sort of "HQ" I guess. We're also planning a "Bilstein, beer and bratwurst" gathering very soon. No date set, but Trevor, and Michael both have snazzy new suspension goodies to be installed.
