How can you spend that much time working on a car and then just let it go when it gets hit? Why not buy it back from insurance for what ever measly amount after they total the car?

Who ever buys that is going to get a hell of a donor car...

That was my thought as well IF it sells for a decent price...bidding starts at 3k and if the frame is toast thats alot to pay for drivetrain and interior....!!!!! I was trying to find his post which chronicled the entire build which was a few years.
