it's not the " H4s" it's the WATTAGE BULBS you

have stuck in the H4 light units ?

condition of the battery?

condition of wiring at the alternator?

condition of all ground connections?

charging output of the alternator/voltage regulator?

'stock' alternator will not do that

MIN - you should invest in a VOLT/OHM meter

to measure the voltage at the battery key off,

during cranking, during 3,000 rpm charging.

voltage reading at the head light wiring sockets

while at 3,000 rpm and idle

with batery and charging system healthy,

there souuld be no dimming at idle.

Yes - maybe some-

at idle with HEATER FAN running, RADIO on, LIGHTS on,

and BRAKE lights on. But with 55W bulbs - should be no 'issues'

with stock charging system. This all assumes you have a strong

55 / 66 AMP HOUR battery
