Tip For Those Seeking 205/60-13 Tires

Like many, I have been seeking a new set of quality 205/60-13 summer performance radials for my 13"x6" Borrani wheels. A friend of mine provided a tip that this was the same size required for his Legend race car as part of the INEX U.S. Legend Cars racing series.

After some research, I found that Federal 595 205/60R13 tires could only be purchased in the U.S. through an authorized Legend Cars dealer. Went on eBay and found one advertising the offical Legend race car asphalt tires and made the purchase.

They were mounted today and I could not be happier.

How's the steering effort on those?

Really can't tell much of a difference in steering from the former 14" E30 bottle caps with 185's.

Great tip. Approx how much $

Thanks

Steve,

I have now seen them discounted as low as $80 each. The suggested resale to Legend car owners is $100.

Oh do share the ebay link or supplier!

thanks,

Russ

Here is a link to the entire dealer network:

http://www.uslegendcars.com/getting_started/find_a_dealer/

I bought mine from a dealer here on eBay:

Then I found this:

I wish the TireRack sold Federal 595 in this size...

Light as a feather. I run that size on my turbo.

Yes...I could not believe it when I learned that they are 4 lbs. lighter than the BF Goodrich TA radial that the Legend group used to specify.
