wiring harness repair help

Ok so I have repairing rat damage on the rest of the harness under control with my soldering iron. Not sure how to tackle the picture below, since its right next to the fire wall and there is no slack to work with. Wires are still intact and barely frayed, so I was debating just wrapping them individually. Anyone have any tips or tricks to make my life easier?

not sure where that photo is - but if it leads up to the fuse box?

remove the 1 screw securing the fuse box and you might get

more wiggle room?

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE

YOU DO ANY THING ! ! ! ! !

YES - YOU CAN rewrap each wire if the wires

themselves aren't chewed through

p.s. - that looks like dried engine coolent that's

staining that area ? got over flowing/boiling issues?

maybe this is a little clearer, right at the firewall grommet

The white stuff is very likely rat piss..... car has not ran in 15 years, pulled 5 wheelbarrels worth of crap from bay.

I still have not gotten rid of the rat. Apparently, it is stronger than mouse traps, resorting to poison tonight.

edit: arrow is pointing down, this is on the left(driver) side at the engine bay side of the firewall.

you might try pushing the bundle forward from the inside of the cabin. the grommet can stay put. you might have to disconnect the wire plug from the instrument cluster and perhaps the wiper relay and turn signal relay (going from memory). there's a metal tie wrap that can be pried open as well. wiggle away. rewrap 4-5 inches of the bundle when you're done, too.
