No 2002 was ever built in South Africa. The BMW factoy started with the E-12, and then the E-30.

I have no idea what he PO did, but it had a respray, so it is quite possible that it is a homemade job. Yes, they are seperate letters.

As for real oem, I never trust their content. A lot of parts "doesnt exist" according to it.I know of at least 5 parts from my other car(RHD stuff) thats not listed there, so its not a good reference point for me.

How does the front badge mount to the grill?

I have a squarie (74) that I have converted (or butchered) to a Ti and I was wondering if the badge could be easily mounted to the later, plastic grill.
