called crazy ray's and a guy there said that they won't sell any complete cars once it's in their yard; it's sold as parts only. I agree, really too bad.

Most junkyards say this, but when you start pressing them and put money down on the counter, generally they change their minds. Talk to the owner of the yard, I'm sure he'll sell the car for the right price. To be fair, at least what they'd get for scrap value and then a little more because they're in business to make money.

update on this car: I went to go see it today. First time I've been to crazy ray's in mt airy. The car is located towards the rear where they keep all of the foreign stuff.

Most of the good stuff has been taken: the front grilles, distributor, fuel pump, rear tail lights (I took these), carburetor, 320is wheels. But there's still some good stuff left: black, uncut door panels, door handles, turn signals, a very new-looking fuel tank, a nice spare tire and wheel, both bumpers, and the head.

Did you notice the condition of hood an trunk? I wanted to make it up there, but have been out of town since the post. I'm back and want to make the drive if the panels are in good shape. Its hard to tell in the pics, but they look to have the typical rust under the trim. Thanks!
