Guest Anonymous
For the window crank, you need to remove the round plastic cover that is inserted in the knob . IIRC (I am at work and the car is at home), it has a small tab or hole so that you can pry it out. Then the rest is just removing the screw in the center and pulling it out. For the shifter bushings, give Paul@Max a call and he will get together a kit for you. That's what I did for mine. HTH, Harry

Guest Anonymous
You should see a small circle or "dot." This indicates where the hole is on the back of the knob (use a mirror to confirm this). I bent a hook into a metal coathanger (or you cound use an Allen wrench or cotter pin puller) to push the insert out of the knob as you pull on the hanger. If the knob is already boogered up, use the screwdriver to pry! John in VA '74 tii
