Guest Anonymous
just got the car back on the road after I adjusted the rear brakes, replaced 2 cv boots, all LSD rear end seals, center support bearing, guibo, output shaft seal, selector shaft seal, speedo cable, tranny mount, shift linkage rebuild, exhaust studs, dizzy housing seals, valve adjustment, valve cover gasket, and oil change/filter change. After a short but oh so abusive test drive, I now have a party horn for a speedo, and a broken spedometer needle. My guess is that the spring in the spedometer broke and that is why the needle spins (what is left of it anyway) Can I fix it? Should I scrap it and use one that you have sitting in a parts pile? I havn't opened it up yet but will do this later when I've got time. Bill

Guest Anonymous
I just got a really nice instrument panel today in the mail from an eBay auction that I'll be using. I think my speedo is broken (or something is goofed up with my cable) but I dont think I need it anymore anyway. If you're gonna try to do this yourself you could take pieces out of mine and I wouldn't mind, if mine really is broken, its probably a different piece than whats screwed up on yours. You could still get a really nice looking cluster that works just fine on ebay or something for a lot less than what it apparently will cost to fix it professionally incase it doesnt work out doing it yourself. Check your email. -Justin
