the other day i had spent the morning unsuccessfully trying to buy some tire chocks to park my car on ( 30 degree down slope /long term/ read posts about e-brake /drum problems. Anyway, after giving up and heading home to get ready for airport taxi pick-up, i saw a "public utility crew" working in my neighborhood. I pulled -up next to one of the guys standing next to one of their trucks and explained my situation and offered to buy a chock from him. he just went into bed of truck and gave me a beautiful beefy hard rubber chock with hand grip and would not take replacement money/ thank you payment... just a wave and an "enjoy your 02". cool guy, great sense of relief knowing car will not end up smashing into wall of garage . need to donate to next fund raiser they have. there are some really nice people out there///
