The value of a heavily modified car is VERY hard to estimate, especially prior to the completion of the effort. If you're a well-known restorer in the BMW 2002 community, you might get a premium over other folks' products, otherwise it's unlikely. However, even if you're able to sell your end product at a premium, you'll likely lose money on the project unless you get your components at low or zero cost, do all the work yourself, and produce a phenomenal car.

Keep in mind that one person's idea of an improvement can be another person's idea of a problem that needs to be addressed.

Good luck with your project, and keep the FAQ community informed regarding your progress. You'll likely get quite a bit of valuable comments and insights from the regular members.
