shift knob ideas

Ok so that 2002 emblem I posted a couple of days ago actually had (has) a purpose.

I have access to CNC milling machines at work, so I've been playing around with how to utilize them.

Shift knobs seems like an obvious place to start, no? Here are a couple that I quickly modeled up - I'm leaning toward the simple one, most likely in aluminum.

What to you guys think? Cool? Too boy racer?

How about putting a shift pattern on top, either 4 or 5 speed would be cool!

Ill take one of the ones on the right with a 5-speed pattern on the top. I hope that you have some damn nice CNC equipment cuz that is not easy at all to set up to mill. But none the less if you can do it I want one!

I have seen similar milled ones. They look nice and if you really like the pattern on the top you can brand your hand with it on a hot day.
