engine and drivetrain What did you use to block the gas return line at the tank?

I've removed all the smog and need to cap this return line off at the tank to stop gas from pouring out the front of the engine compartment. TIA

I just threaded an old bolt into the end of the old hose stub, and put a hose clamp over it to make sure it's sealed....

Or even better when it gets warmer out, you will find your car making odd noises and have a bit of a swollen tank...

Better yet, cap off the hard line at the source; right at the gas tank. No fuel wandering between the tank and the engine bay...

That's what I meant when I said at the stub of the hose (I just have a couple inches sticking out of the tank, then a bolt in it). I agree that you shouldn't allow it to flow up front, as I had an awesome siphon effect before that resulted in me dumping gas all over the hardware store parking lot....

I've still got the little vent hose attached to my filler neck, and it runs underneath the car.
